EOI for NHMRC Fellowship applications in 2018
We are expecting a larger number of NHMRC Fellowship applications in the January to March period given that this is the final year of applications for the fellowship scheme.

This will greatly assist us with planning and resourcing for fellowships for the major round.

VicHealth Innovation Research Grant
Up to $200,000 over 2 years
Closing Date: 26 October 2017 to Monash Research Office 12 October 2017
VicHealth is now calling for applications from researchers to undertake a two-year research project addressing specific research priorities (outlined in the Guidelines) related to the VicHealth Action Agenda for Health Promotion strategic imperatives - promoting healthy eating, encouraging regular physical activity, preventing (or reducing) tobacco use, preventing harm from alcohol and improving mental wellbeing.
This scheme will fund researchers to trial a unique idea, research a new concept or methodology, or develop new insights and evidence with the aim of influencing the theory, policy and practice of health promotion.
The maximum funding available for each project is $200,000 over two years.

Up to $1.5M and up to 5 years

Opportunities for researchers and policy makers to work
together to define research questions, undertake research, interpret the
findings and implement the findings into policy and practice. Partnership
projects will answer a specific research question to influence health and
well-being through changes in the delivery, organisation, funding and access to
health services.
